Tim Gir has worked in legal aid work since 1990 where he worked as a trainee legal executive in a firm in east london doing criminal work. He qualified as a solicitor in 1994 after completing the LPC. He is exclusively involved in criminal work and licensing and became a partner in 2002 of Sanders Witherspoon a firm working in Greater London and Essex. His experience in the legal profession has been throughout the most difficult time to enter the profession throughout this generation, major changes in public funding and the ever constant legislation in the area of criminal law.
