How to find a good solicitor

[0 replies to topic]

My name is Billy Middleton and I have recently set up a website called www.wronglyaccusedperson.org.uk. During my own experience which I'm sure you will know of, both myself and my family found ourselves in an alien situation with no idea where to look for, or how to know which solicitor to approach. Clearly it is important to get the best defence possible, but knowing what I do now I can understand just how easily someone could pick the first one in the book and conceivably spend a significant period of time in prison for something they didn't do. I was lucky, others may not be. There are other area's of support which I am trying to collate to help accused people and their families cope with the stress and ordeal though obviously they are not of any legal significance. Really I raise the point to highlight that my intentions are in no way inspired by bitterness but rather a strong desire to help others who suddenly find themselves in such a position with nowhere to turn and no support. I am therefore trying to collate a list of legal firms on a single page within the site whereby anyone in need of one can enter their location and select based on details provided by firms to allow them to make an informed choice. I am therefore appealing to law firms to be included, please visit my legal search page for a clearer picture of what I am trying to achieve and consider how many prospective clients your firms participation is likely to attract. Bare in mind I am interested in supporting any innocent person from the moment of arrest until unequivocable guilt has been determined. Many thanks for your time. Billy Middleton
