This is a compulsory course to be undertaken by solicitors between qualification and the end of the third year of practice. Our course, tailored to the needs of legal aid practitioners, is run over a full day and delivered by experienced practitioners. The course covers managing finances (including productivity and profitability in a fixed fee environment), client relationships and managing the firm, information and people (including SQM supervision, work allocation and self development).
Price: £190 + vat for LAPG Members (£270 + vat for non-members). For members, an additional delegate is offered £150.00 + vat, and a 2nd additional delegate is offered £110 + vat.

Our Manchester course will run from from 09.30am to 17.00 at Shelter, 5 Samuel Ogden Street, Manchester, M1 7AX (5 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly).
All practising solicitors and registered European lawyers (RELs) working in legal practice or as in-house lawyers have to complete a minimum of 16 hours of CPD a year. The 16 hours must be made up of participation in accredited training courses (the CPD year ends on 31 October).
